We are a global data and insights organisation providing online research and digital advertising services for agencies, marketers, researchers and publishers.

Our research division delivers rich insights into real human behaviour and provides the “Why” behind the “What” through ResTech and SaaS solutions. Our digital advertising division taps into these rich insights on behalf of advertisers and publishers and executes impactful, targeted digital marketing strategies.

We build in-depth profiles of consumers via our proprietary and partner panels and give businesses the ability to understand, target, and ultimately engage with their audiences.

The Company, founded in 2000 and based in Surry Hills, Australia, now operates in North America, Europe and APAC and has delivered solutions for over 700 clients.

Martin Filz
CEO

Martin is one of the most well-respected and influential individuals in the market research industry and has held senior executive roles as Managing Director of EMEA and APAC at Research Now (now a part of Dynata) and CEO of EMEA / APAC at Kantar-owned, Lightspeed GMI. He joined Pureprofile from Eureka AI, a business intelligence platform, where he was Managing Director and Chief Revenue Officer. He is active in digital and research bodies including the Association of Market and Social Research Organisations (AMRSO), ESOMAR, the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS), and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).

Sue Klose
Non-Executive Director

Sue is an experienced executive, board director and team leader, with a diverse background in digital business growth, corporate development, strategy and marketing. Previously the Chief Marketing Officer of GraysOnline, she was responsible for brand strategy, marketing operations and digital product strategy.

Prior roles in consulting and global media companies, including 12WBT and News Ltd, Sue has led strategic planning and development and helped teams continually seek new opportunities for growth and innovation. As Director of Digital Corporate Development for News Ltd, Sue screened hundreds of potential investments, leading multiple acquisitions, establishing the CareerOne and Carsguide joint ventures.
Sue is currently a Non-executive Director of ASX-listed Nearmap, and Aftercare, one of Australia’s largest mental health care providers.

Andrew Edwards
Non-Executive Chairman

Andrew has more than 30 years of marketing experience behind him and, prior to joining Pureprofile, was the Chairman and CEO of internationally-renowned advertising and marketing agency Leo Burnett Group UK and President of Leo Burnett Central Europe. Andrew also sat on its Global Executive Leadership Team with the specific remit of M&A (EMEA) and the rollout of the groups Social and Mobile Strategy.

Prior to his roles for Leo Burnett, Andrew ran Australia’s most-awarded direct marketing company, Cartwright Williams.

Andrew now focuses his time on his portfolio of business interests.

Martin Filz

Melinda Sheppard
Chief Operating Officer

Melinda is a CPA qualified finance professional with over 20 years financial management and operational experience across the Digital Media, Financial Services and Construction industries. She was previously the Senior Commercial Finance Manager at News Corp Australia where she provided commercial and financial advice to the management team. Prior to this, Ms Sheppard was Group CFO and Company Secretary for privately owned Anne Street Partners and QNV Constructions where she was responsible for the overall financial management of the group. She also worked for Ninemsn for almost 8 years, where she held the roles of Finance Director and Company Secretary.

Anna Meiler
Head of Sales and Marketing

Anna has a decade-long track record in the market research industry and a deep understanding of the data and insights world. She has a proven ability to develop new business and market opportunities and is well known for building strong client relationships. She joined Pureprofile from London-headquartered market research firm Mintel where she spent more than five years, including three years as country manager for Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydney. Prior to that, Anna spent nearly six years at consumer insights firm Toluna.

Lorrie Yeung
Head of Global Operations

An accomplished research operations leader with over 12 years experience in the market research industry, Lorrie is highly regarded by her peers for her passion and drive to get the best possible outcome for her clients. Before joining Pureprofile, Lorrie was Head of Research and Insights at digital growth service provider, GrowthOps. Prior to that, she worked for Lightspeed Research, owned by Kantar, for almost five years as Operations Manager and Research Now for close to six years. She holds a Master’s Degree focused in Business Strategy from UNSW Business School.

John Griffin
Chief Technology Officer

John is an exceptionally knowledgeable and respected tech leader based in Melbourne. Before joining Pureprofile, he was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Effective Measure (now Narratiive), a trusted audience measurement platform, where he spent 3 years forging the company’s technology footprint. John has also worked at Neilson, a global data analytics company, for almost a decade where he held the roles of Director of Engineering and CTO. Prior to that John spent 4 years at RedSheriff, where he was responsible for overseeing the company’s research & development and overall operations.

Tim Potter
Managing Director UK/USA

One of the longest standing employees at Pureprofile, Tim has held various management positions with the company since he first joined in 2014. Prior to his time at Pureprofile, Tim was Sales Director at market research company, Maximiles (now Bilendi). During his 9 years with the company, Tim successfully launched the UK online research division, which became the largest part of the UK operation. Before moving into research, he spent 5 years at ITV managing a media sales team.

Tasneem Ali
General Manager, Media

With over 15 years of experience in the digital advertising industry, Tasneem is a highly skilled adtech leader. Informed by big picture decision-making and innovative thinking, Tasneem is known for her unique solutions that exceed client expectations. Prior to joining Pureprofile, Tasneem spent 10 years at leading adtech media company, Komli Media. She has also held senior positions at global publisher monetization platform, Kiosked and global marketing technology platform, FreakOut.

Young Ham
Head of Innovation, Data and Product

Young has close to two decades of experience in the market research industry, having worked for companies including Kantar, Lightspeed Research and TNS. While at Lightspeed Research, Young was responsible for the development of their mobile research capability and was heavily involved in the innovation team, launching a suite of solutions. Most recently he held the role of Director of Data Solutions & Sourcing at Kantar, where he led the data products and sampling partnerships for the APAC region. Young is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner and has also completed his Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt training.

Niamh Fitzpatrick
Head of Product

Niamh is a certified Product Owner with over 20 years experience in the technology industry. Originally from Ireland, Niamh moved to Australia in 2006 and joined Fairfax Media where she held director-level roles in both technology and product. While at Fairfax, she led the development and product teams on some of Australia’s most well known and highly trafficked sites. She has also held a senior leadership role at Facebook managing technology and creative partners across APAC.

Heather Rizzo
Head of APAC Operations

An experienced and solutions-oriented leader, Heather has been an integral part of Pureprofile since she joined in 2016. With expertise across the full customer journey from pre-sales through to account management, operations and delivery, Heather is known for her ability to build high performing teams that seek out innovative solutions for every client. Prior to joining Pureprofile, Heather worked at the Australian Associated Press and Sterling Infosystems. Heather holds a bachelor’s degree with specialisations in Law and Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Samantha Blagg
Head of Talent and Culture

Samantha is a human resources professional with over 20 years of experience in HR, aviation, travel and customer service in Australia and the UK. Her strengths include working with people and teams to increase productivity and effectiveness, as well as striving for the best possible people practices. Samantha spent over 16 years at Virgin Atlantic Airways, including almost 7 years as Human Resources Manager. She is a long time member of the Australian Human Resources Institute, holds a certified organisational coaching skills qualification, and is well versed with current legislative and industry-wide best practice.
