You’ve heard of FOMO, that’s Fear Of Missing Out.
Then came its upbeat antidote, JOMO, or Joy Of Missing Out, that saw us smugly in a face mask and our pyjamas on a Friday night, instead of knocking back two-for-one cocktails at after work drinks.
Now, according to a recent Australian survey there’s a new social phenomenon and it’s a feeling we’re all familiar with, FOTO, or Fear Of Throwing Out.
The survey conducted by Pureprofile on behalf of amaysim, of 1238 Australians found 82 per cent of Australians have it – and that three in four would feel happier if finally able to part with things they don’t need. Read more >
