While 40 per cent of Australian IT practitioners surveyed reported their organisation had experienced a data breach involving the loss of more than 1000 confidential records, more than two-thirds said it wasn’t their responsibility to protect the company brand.
The survey, conducted via Pureprofile in June, sheds light on a security blind spot where worker behaviour and IT policies at Australia’s biggest organisations are often at odds, with software standardisation identified as a potential culprit. Read more >
